Impact Hub Inverness worked with Scalpay Community Association to help put together supporting documentation for stakeholders about their plans to redevelop Scalpay Community Hall. We worked with SCA through the Just Enterprise programme, where they were able to access free business support.

"Preparation of documentation for Community Consultation regarding our plans for theRedevelopment of the Scalpay Hall Community and Heritage Centre.
How has this work helped your organisation and benefited the community you support?
"The documentation, shaping the narrative to present to the community was invaluable as itstructured what we were thinking/planning….but in a format that the community and external
agencies could accept as being the agreed to aim and objective.
Having the team reword and structure in a different style was so helpful."
How did you find the quality of work and client interaction whilst working with Impact Hub Inverness?
"Their speed to respond and to “get on with the task” was impressive and without delays or multiplecommunications asking if “this is ok”. The team lifted the burden and presented us a package that
met the scope of work as designed"

- Work with the design team and stakeholders (local) using the project feasibility study to create the following;
- Preparation of all materials, business case, design, wanted outcomes, pro’s and con’s for a Community Consultation to the residents and stakeholders of Scalpa Island, Harris.
- Rework the business case documentation with updated significant material and statistics where necessary…latest tourist strategy and market knowledge to support the plan.
- Develop a presentation package (visual) and documentation booklet outlining the works proposed, the impacts, opportunities, risks and rewards of the redevelopment
- Support the Scalpay project team (local) with material ready documentation for submission to funding organisations for the whole project of rebuild."
