We were commissioned by The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland to do a survey of RIAS members that would feed into an internal strategic review.
Please describe the work Impact Hub Inverness has done with your organisation
"As part of our ongoing commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of our members, we engaged with Impact Hub Inverness to initiate a comprehensive survey and assessment of the members of each chapter of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS). The survey and subsequent report provided valuable insights into the concerns and expectations of our membership base. The findings were the foundation from which the RIAS developed a management strategy that was used to direct the organisation's activities in the future.
We later commissioned Impact Hub Inverness to help us assess the impact of COVID on our members in order that we could provide an assessment to Scottish Government of the likely impact further down the line on the construction industry".
How has this work helped your organisation and benefited the community you support?
"The team successfully engaged with the members of each Chapter to gather their views. This enabled us to capture their views and helped us to develop a strategy for future governance that reflected the views and concerns of our members. This started as a piece of work in the Inverness chapter of the RIAS, but we quickly escalated the work to cover engagement across all the Chapters across Scotland. The increase in the workload and scope did not seem to faze the team!".
How did you find the quality of work and client interaction whilst working with Impact Hub Inverness?
"The team were very attentive to our project needs. Their strategic approach was pivotal in obtaining high level membership engagement. There were a lot of different interests to work with once the work went national and the team showed themselves able to deal with this and progress the work in a timely manner."
