"The Dornoch Area Community Interest Company (DACIC) appointed Impact HUB in 2018 to carry out community consultation on possible uses of the former Dornoch Police Station, and then to develop a feasibility study and business plan to support our grant funding application to the Scottish Land Fund and our Asset Transfer Request to Police Scotland to purchase the building. Both objectives were successfully achieved in January 2020 and we are very grateful to Impact Hub for their assistance in achieving these outcomes. The plans for the building include offices and studios to let, a gym, a community room and seasonal staff accommodation. The business plan gave us clear targets for each income stream and tenants have been identified to meet these. Our challenge now is to secure the necessary funding for renovations and the output we received from Impact HUB is a key part of any grant application".
