Impact Hub Inverness carried out a feasibility study and business plan for the development of their local hall. Here's what Calum Munro, Chairperson of Kilmuir Community Trust, had to say about working with Impact Hub Inverness.

Please describe the work Impact Hub Inverness has done with your organisation
"IHI have done work for KCT on 2 occasions and had also previously carried out work for Kilmuir Community Council. The work for KCT was a continuation of this work. Firstly a feasibility study and business case were produced for a development of our local hall. This included a café, laundrette, and upgrading hall facilities. Also, IHI assisted KCT in completing a successful application to the Highland Coastal Communities Fund and also in doing some project development work which allowed KCT to make a submission to the RTIF funded, administered by THC on behalf of VisitScotland (decision pending)".

How has this work helped your organisation and benefited the community you support?
"Working with IHI and establishing really positive relationships with them has helped us develop our community’s aspirations, turn them into factual documents which then allows us to proceed with confidence that our future applications are grounded on solid evidence. Working with IHI has given our community confidence that we can achieve our aspirations".

How did you find the quality of work and client interaction whilst working with Impact Hub Inverness?
"We have been very happy with the quality of work and the client interaction we have experienced over these 3 different elements of work carried out. The type of interaction we’ve had has shown IHI take a genuine interest in the group/community they are working for and the level of detail developed in that interaction demonstrates that doing a bland generic application is not how they approach their work."

"We went back to IHI a second and third time because we knew that we would be getting a service where the staff were extremely capable and who also invested time and care in develop work which was of a high standard and which actually met our community’s needs."
